Equipment for the Personal Dosimetry Laboratory at the Danish Health Authority, Radiation Protection that can solve the following task is requested for by this tender.
The task involves scanning the barcode of a foiled Harshaw TLD card, cutting and removing the foil and stacking the cards for a total of approx. 60.000 cards per year.
The Harshaw TLD card, also known as 4-Element TLD Cards, are manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific: http://tools.thermofisher.com/content/sfs/brochures/Dosimetry-Materials-Brochure.pdf
The Harshaw cards are wrapped in a metal/plastic foil by thermal melting and cutting the plastics on a machine very similar to this: http://www.rotundascitech.com/Harshaw-TLD-Card-Wrapping-Machine.html.
The TLD cards are subsequently readout on a Thermo Fisher Scientific Harshaw 8800 PLUS TLD Reader.
The tender also includes training in the machinery supplied as well as delivery and connecting the machinery to be fully operational.
