Mapping for Invest Danmark - Delivery of a report of the global ingredients industry
1 Background
To support the Danish ingredients industry, the Danish government decided in 2018 to establish an Advisory Board for the Ingredients Industry consisting of members from the industry as well as from Danish universities. The Advisory Board was assigned the job of coming up with proposals for how to support the growth of the industry (ingredients for food as well as feed). In early 2019 the Advisory Board submitted its recommendations to the Government (recommendation attached as “Foodshakers” via https://mfvm.dk/fileadmin/user_upload/MFVM/Foedevare/ingre.pdf) and by end of 2019 the Government decided on certain activities, including the acquisition of a report on the global ingredients industry.
2 Content of the assignment
The Consultant must deliver a written report consisting of two parts:
1. A description of the global food and feed ingredients industry
2. A mapping of companies within the food and feed ingredients industry
